Abstract (en)
A detector which detects a person (P) includes at least one image recording-and-reproducing device such as a video camera (7), and an image processing system which checks the images supplied from the image recording-and-reproducing device w.r.t persons. The person may be detected before entering the region (14) of a reading device (9) which checks the authorization. The authorization may be stored on a contactless data carrier, or biometric data may be used.

Eine Einrichtung zur Zugangskontrolle von Personen (P) weist eine Leseeinrichtung (9) zur Überprüfung der Zugangsberechtigung und eine Detektionseinrichtung auf, die eine die Zugangsspur (1, 2) passierende Person erfasst. Die Detektionseinrichtung weist eine Videokamera (7) auf. Die von der Videokamera (7) gelieferten Bilder werden mit einer Datenverarbeitungsanlage auf Personen (P) überprüft. Im Falle einer nicht gelesenen Zugangsberechtigung der erfassten Person (P) wird der Zugang gesperrt. <IMAGE>
