Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0210519A1] Segment of flood-protection wall based on special bag filled with water Segment of flood-protection wall is based on special bag filled with water. When filledthe segment occupies (analogous to more sophisticated representatives of flood-protectionbags) domed shape over its basis which is defined by at least one convex surface. Ratio of rectangular projection of segment width to rectangular projection of segment height is within 1.5 : 1 to 3.5 : 1. Segment has at least one filling throat and at least one vent throat in the toparea and at least one draining throat in the foot area; opposite parts of inner wall in bag cavityare connected by at least one stability partition. Segment surface sheet is made of plain weave fabric two-sided coated by elastomer compound based on EPDM rubber and butadiene-styrene rubber.
