Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0210582A1] The invention relates to a valve arrangement, particularly suitable for a fuel injection system on an internal combustion engine, comprising an adjustable valve element, an actuator, in particular, piezoelectrically operated, for displacement of the valve element and a hydraulic force transmission chamber, arranged in the force transmission path between the actuator and the valve element. A hydraulic pressure distributor arrangement (50b, 52b) is provided for the diversion of a hydraulic filling flow from a main hydraulic flow, to the force transmission chamber, for the filling thereof. Said distributor arrangement comprises a channel system (46b, 48b) formed in a channel housing (14b) with a main channel (46b), leading to the main hydraulic flow and at least one filling channel (48b) leading to the hydraulic filling flow, branching off from the main channel (46b). The pressure distributor arrangement (50b, 52b) forms a hydraulic throttling region (50b, 52b) for the hydraulic main flow, on both sides of the branching position for the filling channel (48b) from the main channel (46b), when considered in the direction of flow of the main hydraulic flow. At least one of said throttling regions (50b, 52b) is thus embodied as a throttle bore.
