[origin: WO0212715A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, comprising a pump housing in which a pumping unit is housed, the operation of which is controlled by means of a controller, housed in a controller housing which is mounted on the pump housing. In order to guarantee an adequate cooling of the controller housing, a cavity is formed between the upper side of the pump housing and the underside of the controller housing. A fuel inlet opens into said cavity from whence a connector line leads to the pumping unit, whereby a filling piece is arranged in the cavity with a feed funnel (18), by means of which the fuel delivered reaches the pumping unit from the cavity, through the connector line.
