[origin: EP1308588A1] The lock mechanism consists of a flat bar (19) that slides in a vertical edge channel of a sliding door or window and has two or more hook-shaped bolts (31, 32) to engage with a fixed frame. The bar is linked to a sliding actuator (2) by a forked connector (5) shaped to engage with a hole (20) in the bar and pass through a slot (18) in the window of door edge to connect with the actuator.
