[origin: WO0214024A1] The invention relates to a hydraulic or pneumatic assembly device comprising an electronic micro-processor control, for the pre-fabrication or pre-assembly of pipe or hose connections. Said device consists of a hydraulic or pneumatic drive unit, a functional display and a hydraulic or pneumatic piston comprising a tool holder, into which various tools are inserted. The tools (11) can be selected in accordance with the workpieces to be processed (14). The device parameters of the tools (11), each of which is assigned to specific workpieces to be processed, can be supplied to the micro-processor control of the assembly device. The data concerning the device parameters of each tool is transmitted to the control unit by means of laser illumination or electromagnetic radiation, using in each case a transponder of the control unit.
