[origin: EP1310613A2] Holder for a covering strip (1) comprises a holding profile having a fixing bar for fixing on a subconstruction and a holding arm (5) for the covering strip protruding from the fixing bar. The fixing bar is extended on one side toward a free edge section (8) forming a pre-determined breaking point (10) running along the adjoining holding arm. The holding arm supports a support attachment (12) for the edge section bridging the pre-determined breaking point. <??>Preferred Features: The pre-determined breaking point consists of a constriction (11) in the edge section of the fixing bar covered by the support attachment of the holding arm. The support attachment has a cross-section in the form of a quarter circle.
