[origin: DE10025917C1] The portable seating stand structure has a sub-structure and a number of fitted telescopic sections (14,15) which can be pitched at a variety of angles to the horizontal, and cheeks (12) for the mounting of steps to support seats, banisters, and the like. The cheeks (12) have pivot points (23-25) at an end, for the telescopic sections to swing into the required position. Each cheek (12) has a mounting point for the steps, flush with the pivot points (23-25) or directly near them.
