Abstract (en)
A spark plug (1) has a tubular metal casing (2), in which an insulator (4) is embedded. A rod-shaped inner conductor structure fits in the insulator and has a terminal stud (11), a current-limiting resistor (12), a coated contact pin (13) and a central electrode (5). An earth electrode fits on the casing. The central electrode and/or the earth electrode have a feeder area (8) for feeding a combustible mixture to a preset spark gap. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a combustion chamber structure with a spark plug and an injection valve that has two injection holes, whose mixture jets flank the spark plug.

Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft eine Zündkerze 1 mit einem rohrförmigen, metallischen Gehäuse 2; einem in dem Gehäuse 2 eingebetteten Isolator 4; einer stabförmigen Innenleiteranordnung, die in dem Isolator 4 angeordnet ist und einen Anschlussbolzen 11, einen strombegrenzenden Widerstand 12, einen beschichteten Kontaktstift 13 und eine Mittelelektrode 5 aufweist; und mit mindestens einer Masseelektrode 6, die an dem Gehäuse 2 angebracht ist; wobei die Mittelelektrode 5 und/oder die Masseelektrode 6 einen Zuführbereich 8, 9, 10 zum Zuführen eines brennbaren Gemisches an eine vorbestimmte Funkenstrecke aufweist; und eine Brennraumanordnung mit: einer Zündkerze und einem Einspritzventil, das mindestens ein Paar Einspritzlöcher 22, 22' aufweist, wobei deren Gemischstrahlen die Zündkerze 1 radial flankieren. <IMAGE>
