Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0216705A1] The invention relates to an economical and purely fluid mechanical device (100) provided with a siphon (25) which is arranged in a cavity (12) of a mixing chamber (3). Said mixing chamber is filled with a liquid active ingredient (A) by means of a dosing needle (13) which is attached to a storage reservoir (2). As soon as the flushing process is triggered, a small amount of flushing water flows into the mixing chamber (3) via a connecting pipe (5), mixes with the dosed active ingredient (A), and, after the pressure release in the flushing water pipe, flows into said flushing water pipe via the siphon (25), coating the urinal or the toilet with the active ingredient (A). Said device (100) doses the active ingredient (A) in a very precise manner, requiring no outside auxiliary energy, is very environmentally-friendly and requires no maintenance even after months of intensive use, other than changing the storage reservoir containing the active ingredient.
