[origin: DE10040692C1] The pump has a pump casing (1), which supports an internally toothed ring gear (5) and an outer toothed pinion (3) driven on a drive shaft (2). The pinion is eccentric to the annular gear and co-operates with it to form a pump action. The pinion and the ring gear each have one end face at the pump casing and the other end face at a sealing plate (13). The suction channel is arranged in the sealing plate, which moves with respect to the pump casing, so that the space between the suction and pressure channels can be altered.
