Abstract (en)
An insensitive pressable high energy explosive containing (wt.%): octogen or hexogen (sic)(92-97), dioctyl adipate (DOA)(1-6), polyacrylic polymer (Ht Temp)(0.5-2), polysiloxane (1-5) is new. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a method of preparing the composition by: <??>(1) mixing the coarse and fine particles; <??>(2) addition to the mixture of a solution of polysiloxane and isopropanol; <??>(3) washing and drying of the mixture; and <??>(4) addition and mixing in of a binder solution of polyacrylic polymer, (1 part) and DOA (3 parts) in solvent (25 parts).
