[origin: EP1312708A1] A modular measuring assembly (1) determines the weave tension in a weaving process and consists of a tensiometer finger (2) with a guide (3) attached to a holding fixture (4). The finger (2) is coupled to a sensor element (5), causing a force on the finger to effect a change in the sensor element. One side of the guide (3) is secured to the holding fixture (4). The finger is separated from the guide (3) fixture by an interval. <??>Also claimed is a commensurate weaving machine equipped with the modular device in which the variable - position holding fixture (4) slides back and forth on a rail as required. The finger is presented approx. at right angles to the weave. The guide swivels on the spring-mounted holding fixture.
