Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1313072A2] The device has a control unit (4), which is in communication with many of the gaming machines (2a-2d). The unit selects one or more of the gaming machines to operate in an enhanced play mode (6) for period of time, causing the machines to provide another set of awards which are advantageous to players than the previous sets. The control unit changes the gaming parameters during the enhanced play mode. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a method performed by a control unit in communication with many gaming machines.
