The device has a plug head (1) with a cable-side opening (1.2) for accommodating, contacting and holding the end of the outer conductor of a coaxial cable whose floor has a central passage (1.4) to a plug-side opening (1.6) for an insulating support that holds an inner conductor with an axial bore (3.2) for inserting the end of the cable's inner conductor. A solder deposit (5) is arranged in the axial bore of the plug connector's inner conductor. <??>AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of soldering a plug connector to the end of a coaxial cable.

Ein koaxialer Steckverbinder, dessen Steckerkopf (1) kabelseitig eine Ausnehmung (1.2) zur Aufnahme, Kontaktierung und Abfangung des Endes des Außenleiters eines Koaxialkabels hat und in dessen steckseitiger Ausnehmung (1.6) eine Isolierstoffstütze (2) sitzt, die einen Steckverbinderinnenleiter (3) haltert, der kabelseitig eine axiale Bohrung (3.2) zur Einführung des Endes des Innenleiters des Koaxialkabels hat, läßt sich zeitsparend auf insbesondere auch dünne Koaxialkabel montieren, wenn die axiale Bohrung (3.2) des Steckverbinderinnenleiters (3) ein Lotdepot (5) umfasst. Zusätzlich kann auch in der kabelseitigen Ausnehmung (1.2) des Steckerkopf (1) ein Lotdepot (4) untergebracht sein.
