Abstract (en)
The ski/snowboard (1) consists of a main section or base (2) with a sliding sole and raised front tip (8), an additional lengthwise upper panel (3) with boot fastenings. The additional panel is narrower than the base, between 30 and 60 per cent of the base's length, and has one or more lateral recesses. It is fitted into a cavity in upper surface of the base which has inward-facing lateral projections (18a, 18b) to engage with the recesses. A variant of the design can incorporate shock absorbing inserts of a rubber or elastomer material between the sides of the additional panel and the base.

Planche de glisse sur neige (1) tel qu'un ski, un monoski ou un surf, de plan vertical de symétrie général (P), comportant une embase (2), sur la face supérieure de laquelle est fixé, un élément complémentaire longitudinal (3) ladite embase (2) ayant la forme d'une poutre allongée, caractérisée en ce que l'élément complémentaire longitudinal (3) a la forme d'une plaque allongée dont la largeur mesurée entre ses bordures latérales est inférieure à la largeur de l'embase (2), et dont l'une au moins de ses bordures latérales, comporte un profil en creux, et en ce que la retenue latérale de l'élément complémentaire (3) est réalisée par encastrement de l'élément complémentaire (3) dans un logement réalisé dans l'embase (2), qui comprend au moins un rebord latéral de retenue (19a, 19b) comprenant une saillie latérale interne (18a, 18b) destinée à coopérer avec le profil en creux (19a, 19b) de l'élément complémentaire (3). <IMAGE>
