Abstract (en)
Following a coating step, a pig (33) is used to force out any coating material remaining in the paint inlet channel (14) from the end of the channel next to the control valve (16), in the direction of the opposite end of the channel. <??>The method is used to supply paint to a production line on which nebuliser devices working with different coloured paints are used to spray workpieces. An Independent claim is also included for the coating machine used in this method, comprising an inlet channel (14) for different colour paints, a preferably nozzle-type outlet channel, a control valve between the inlet and outlet channels, a pig station (32) at the valve end of the inlet channel, a pig station (30) at the opposite end of the inlet channel to the valve and a pig which can be moved along the inlet channel.
