[origin: EP1314493A1] The apparatus, designed to shape a series of tube sections (Tn, Tn + 1) one after another, consists of a base (1), a pair of shaping jaws (2, 3) designed to form a cavity in which each tube section is shaped, a control system (5) for moving the jaws relative to one another and the base, and a tube section positioner (20). The positioner comprises a base (21) and a mechanism (22) for rotating the base about an axis (23) parallel to the axis (6) of the cavity between two set positions. It also has a head (24) and two sleeves (25, 26) to place the tube sections in the cavity and withdraw them after shaping.
