Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1314516A1] Retaining element (2) for holding a workpiece in a reference position with a retaining part (4) mounted against the workpiece and a base part (3) for holding the retaining part. Holding and base parts have adjoining smooth surfaces. In the surfaces of the two parts are guide grooves that form a cross when viewed from above. An intermediate part (65) is inserted between the two parts with groove stones arranged so that they project perpendicularly into the matching grooves of the two surfaces.
