Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1314517A1] The device has a combustion chamber (5) formed between a piston (9) and a cylinder head (7). An injection duct (19) leads combustion gas into the chamber, through longitudinal and lateral orifices at one duct end (19A). A narrow portion is formed at the downstream side of the duct end, to facilitate pressure drop before the combustion gas is discharged through the longitudinal and lateral orifices.
