Device for presenting a fixing line (10) sunk in the water on berthing a water vehicle (1) comprises a pump device (3) for conveying gaseous medium, a pressure line (4) sunk in the water and connected to the pump device, a float (5) having an inner chamber connected via an inlet opening to the pressure line, and a holding device holding the fixing line on the float so that when the float is raised the fixing line can be presented to a user (20) near the water surface (9). The float has an opening through which water leaves the inner chamber when the float is raised and allows gaseous medium to enter the inner chamber, and through which gaseous medium leaves the inner chamber when the float is lowered. The float has another opening through which water enters the inner chamber when the float is lowered. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a process using the above device for presenting a fixing line sunk in the water on berthing a water vehicle. Preferred Features: The pump device is a hand-pump or a remote-controlled pump device for pumping air into the pressure line.

Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Bereitstellen einer im Wasser versenkten Befestigungsleine (10) beim Anlegen von Wasserfahrzeugen (1) in einem Hafen. Zum Heben eines Schwimmkörpers (5), an dem die Befestigungsleine (10) gehalten wird, wird über eine Druckleitung (4) mit Hilfe einer Pumpeneinrichtung (3) ein gasförmiges Medium in den Schwimmkörper (5) gefördert. Dieses führt zum Aufsteigen des Schwimmkörpers (5) an eine Wasseroberfläche (9). Nachdem ein Benutzer (20) ein freies Ende (11) der Befestigungsleine (10) aufgenommen hat, kann der Schwimmkörper (5) wieder abgesenkt werden. <IMAGE>
