Abstract (en)
Calender has a nip formed between a roller and a mantle belt moving around it. The belt is held by supports around a section of the roller circumference, and press the web against the roller surface. Es wird ein Kalander (1) zum Glätten einer Bahn (2) aus Faserstoff angegeben mit einem Nip (5), der durch eine Walze (3) und ein umlaufendes Mantelband (4) gebildet ist, das mit Hilfe einer Stützelementanordnung (6) in einem vorbestimmten Umfangsabschnitt gegen die Walze (3) gepreßt ist, wobei die Bahn (2) durch den Nip (5) geführt ist. Man möchte die Oberflächengüte der Bahn verbessern. Hierzu ist die Walze (3) beheizt und ein wärmeleitfähiges Band (8) ist zwischen der Bahn (2) und der Walze (3) durch den Nip (5) geführt, das nach dem Austritt aus dem Nip (5) über eine vorbestimmte Strecke (9) anliegend an die Bahn (2) geführt ist. <IMAGE>
