Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1314842A1] The device comprises two release and drive units (6), each one of which has a release part actuated by an external force. The release part is connected to a drive part (8) used to move the furniture part (3). At least one locking part (17) is provided for fixing the movable furniture part in the closed position and releasing it when an external force is applied to the release part(s). The two units are synchronised with each other and are connected in a play-free manner via a transmission mechanism (16).
