[origin: EP1314929A2] The water tube boiler has a conventional design, but flue gases pass through gaps (24) formed by constrictions at the lower ends of the inner water tubes (16) into a first chamber (19). They then pass through similar gaps (25) at the top of the outer tubes (17) into a second chamber (20) and down to the exhaust outlet (26).
