Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1314933A1] The multi-stage air injector has an internal axial chamber (50) with an outlet (58) for the mixture charge. A first feed stage has multiple fuel feed orifices (64) opening into the chamber and spaced around its axis. An air injection opening (66) also opens into the chamber. The injector has a second fuel feed stage axially offset from the first and with openings (70) also spaced around the injector axis.
