[origin: EP1314949A1] The method involves a data processing system (EDV) repeatedly performing predictions as a fire control device (F) tracks the target (Z), aiming the weapon (B) based on the prediction, the data processing system receiving an actual direction signal from the weapon, computing a desired direction and an aiming error, and displaying (M) a delivery marker correlated with the aiming error on an image of the target and its surroundings. <??>An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for assessing weapon system aiming errors.
