[origin: WO0218023A1] A device for playing certain house and player banked casino games and games therefore are set forth including bet detectors (58) and a processor (102, 104) which perform certain calculations based upon the detected wagers to allocate funds to the house or jackpots (106, 108). For house banked games such as Blackjack, a new pot wager is added and detected. Further, for certain games, outcomes are selected where the house wins the aggregated pot wagers to dispense with the need for a commission. For player banked games such as Poker, a portion of the pot is allocated to fund a jackpot feature. Also set forth is a new Poker game suitable for implementation of the device.
