[origin: WO0220347A3] The invention relates to a driving mechanism disposed on the hull (100) of a watercraft comprising an impeller (4) which is used for the propulsion of said watercraft. The impeller is arranged in a housing (1). The cross-section of the flow channel (26) for the impeller is enlarged. Behind the impeller, the cross-section is reduced towards the outlet (6). The cross-section of the outlet can be altered. An adjustable guiding device (2) is arranged in the inlet.
