[origin: WO0214603A1] In the method for adding pigment to paper, pigment raw material is fed in a soluble state into or towards the moving paper web, which is at least partly formed, and after the feeding, the raw material is brought into conditions through which the pigment is caused to precipitate. The pigment to be precipitated is at least one of the following: gypsum, aluminium hydroxide or calcium carbonate.
