Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0222974A1] The invention relates to an installation carriage that can be displaced within a channel in order to facilitate the installation of cable supports on a channel wall and to automate installation as far as possible. Said installation carriage comprises a trough-shaped base (3) that contains a storage battery, and wheels (8) that are disposed one behind the other in the direction of travel. At least one of said wheels is driven by an integrated wheel hub motor by the storage battery. Opposite faces of the base (3) are provided with supports for supporting seats (6) for the operating personnel, the individual assemblies being controlled by an operator via a control cabinet (4) provided on the base (3). The base (3) further supports a platform (18) that can be lifted by a hydraulic cylinder (20), swiveled panels (23) being mounted on said platform. Said swiveled panels (23) are provided with riders (29) that receive electric percussion drills (30) that are displaced into their operating position towards the channel wall by means of a pneumatic spring (40) and that can be moved to an inoperative position against the force of said spring, in which inoperative position the riders are retained by a manually releasable locking device (37, 38).
