[origin: WO0220927A1] The invention concerns a double-security handcuff comprising: a half-bracelet (1) whereof one of the ends forms a locking notched section serving as rack (1a); the notched section (1a) is adapted to co-operate with a pawl (4) mounted mobile to counter an elastic member (6); the pawl (4) has fittings adapted to co-operate with the bit (7a) of a key (7) to be temporarily retracted under the action of said key, to release the locking notched section (1a); an assembly capable of being manually actuated for displacing the locking elements (10a-11) adapted to co-operate with the fittings (4c) of the pawl (4) to lock it in position relative to the notched section (1a), said elements (11) being adapted to be stressed by the bit (7a) of the key (7) to be retracted to release, simultaneously, the pawl (4).
