[origin: WO0221005A1] The invention relates to a deflection pulley (1), designed for a traction mechanism drive, which comprises an anti-friction bearing (2) and an annular body (4). A locking screw (8) and a distance bush (9) act as retaining elements. To create a locking element (17) for transportation, the distance bush (9) is provided with at least one projection (18), directed radially inwards, said projection radially overlapping a section of thread (20) of the locking screw (8).
