[origin: WO0221030A1] The aim of the invention is to create a gas flow monitoring device which has means for regulating/modifying the closing flow without making structural changes, i.e. also after production. In particular, it should be possible to regulate the closing flow at the time of installation. To this end, the gas flow monitoring device consists of a gas-tight housing (1) which contains a valve seat (6) for a closing body (14) which is mobile in the housing (1). Said closing body (14) is fixed on a pin (11) which is mounted in an in-guide (7) and an out-guide (8). A closing spring (16) which is supported on said out-guide (8) on one side and on the closing body (14) on the other side holds the closing body in the open position. A spacer (17) is located on the in-guide (7) and forms a stop (18) for the closing body (14) in the open position of the gas flow monitoring device.
