Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0221491A1] The invention concerns a method which consists in: (a) measuring (50) the times (T1HAV, T2HAV) of the black vertical edges of the image and modifying step-by-step the adjustment (HPOS) of the horizontal centring to obtain equal vertical lateral edges; (b) measuring (52) the times (T1HAV and T2HAV) of the black vertical edges of the image to calculate the adjustment (HSIZE) of the horizontal dimension of the image so as to eliminate the black vertical edges; (c) measuring (54) the times (T1VAV and T2VAV) of the horizontal edges of the image to calculate the adjustment of the vertical dimension of the image (VSIZE') and the adjustment of the vertical centring of the image (VPOS') so as to eliminate the black horizontal edges and in centring the image vertically; and (d) recording (56) the adjustment values obtained (HPOS, HSIZE, VSIZE' and VPOS) in a display calculator storage.
