Abstract (en)
A guiding device (1) to be installed on a machine (2) for polishing the edges (3a) of workpieces (3) made of marble-like material. The device (1) comprises a runner (14) extending in the feeding direction of the workpieces (3), over the whole extension of the machine itself. Operatively in engagement with the runner is a locking means (23) set to keep the workpieces (3), during the machine (2) working operations, to a steady position relative to the feeding direction ("X") of the workpieces (3) themselves. The device is further equipped with a disabling member (31) which is designed to directly act on the locking means (23) bringing said locking means (23) to a rest position. <IMAGE>
