Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0220976A1] Disclosed is a valve which is used to control a fluid, comprising an actuator unit (7) which is used to actuate an axially displaceable valve member (6) with an associated valve closing member (15), cooperating with a valve seat (23) in order to open and close the valve (1) and separating a high pressure area (3) from the valve (1). The fluid to be controlled is located in the high pressure area (3) at a working pressure (p-R). Said working pressure (p-R) and an over pressure occurring in specific circumstances are recorded by the actuator unit (7) which is embodied as a force measuring sensor.Said valve (1) is especially used as a pressure limiting valve in a common rail system.
