[origin: WO0221251A1] The invention concerns a communication method between a user and a computer, by simulating a standard keyboard with reduced number of keys, the arrangement of the keys of said standard keyboard capable of being simulated in the form of a matrix comprising four lines and thirteen columns. The invention is characterised in that each character of the simulated standard keyboard is obtained by combining the user's actions or the computer's reactions on at least six main keys (1) and at least two secondary keys (2) of a keyboard, said main keys (1) enabling to define the number of the column and said secondary keys (2) enabling to define the number of the line of the matrix corresponding to the simulated keyboard character. The invention also concerns the keyboard for implementing said method.
