[origin: EP1317887A1] The outer ends of the rope element (5) are fixed in the temple area and guided through two openings at the rear, forming loops at both sides. The size of the loops can be adjusted with a mechanism assembled of a sleeve with an elliptical cross section and a slot at the front, and of a button on top a leaf spring engaging with matching openings arranged along the slot. A chin strap (6), adjustable in length, can be attached to the rope (5) with a guide element pushed across the rope (5) and facilitating the rope to slide along its inner surface.
