Abstract (en)
Process for improving the adhesion and distribution of a lubricant on the surface of an aluminum (alloy) cold rolled strip between two working rollers comprises coating the strip with a lubricant for subsequent deformation. The surface of the at least one of the working rollers has a roughness pattern (10) which consists of at least two cutting line patterns (14, 18) which are characterized by a number of parallel grooves (12, 16). <??>Preferred Features: The roughness pattern consists of two cutting line patterns arranged at an angle of 30-60 degrees to the rolling direction. The distance between the grooves and the depth of the grooves is 0.2-2.5, preferably 0.4-1.8 microns .

Bei einem Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Haftung und Verteilung eines Schmierstoffes auf der Oberfläche eines zwischen zwei Arbeitswalzen kalt gewalzten Bandes aus Aluminium oder aus einer Aluminiumlegierung, wobei das kalt gewalzte Band für eine nachfolgende Umformung mit dem Schmierstoff beschichtet wird, weist die Oberfläche wenigstens einer der Arbeitswalzen ein Rauheitsmuster (10) auf, das aus wenigstens zwei sich schneidenden Linienmustern (14,18) besteht, wobei diese Linienmuster jeweils durch eine Vielzahl paralleler Rillen (12,16) charakterisiert sind. <IMAGE>
