Abstract (en)
Process for calibrating a mold (1), especially in the form of a tube or block, comprises: reinforcing the mold in its end regions before calibration by build-up welding in the wall thickness; filling the holes (5) in the mold wall with a flowable material; and sealing at the ends. Calibration can be then be carried out. <??>Preferred Features: The holes are filled with an incompressible material and/or bulk material. The holes have a circular cross-section.
Abstract (de)
Bei dem Verfahren zur Sprengkalibrierung einer Kokille (1) wird ein Kalibrierdorn in die Kokille (1) eingesetzt, danach ein Sprengstoff auf die Außenfläche (4) der Kokille (1) gebracht und gezündet. Durch die Sprengkraft wird die Innenseite (3) der Kokille (1) an den Kalibrierdorn gepreßt und auf Sollmaß gebracht. Die Kokille (1) weist in der Kokillenwand (2) Bohrungen (5) für Kühlmittel und Meßelemente auf, die sich in Längsrichtung (LR) der Kokille (1) erstrecken und an den Stirnseiten (6, 7) der Kokillenwand (2) austreten. Vor der Sprengkalibrierung werden die Bohrungen (5) mit einem fließfähigen Material ausgefüllt und dicht verschlossen. Das fließfähige Material ist vorzugsweise ein inkompressibles Fluid und/oder ein Schüttgut. <IMAGE>
