Abstract (en)
The support (10) for a glass pane assembly (11) or panel, in a window or door frame (20), has a carrier (12) along its complete length. The carrier is encapsulated in a flexible and soft plastics to form a covering layer. The carrier is of metal, to increase the load bearing performance of the support. The carrier and its encapsulation are produced separately to be fitted together in the window/door assembly.

Abstützteil (10) einer Verglasung (11) oder eines dgl. Plattenteils eines Bauelements (20), insbesondere eines Tür-oder Fensterrahmens, das ein sich praktisch über die gesamte Länge erstreckendes Tragelement (12) hat und mit einer in Bezug auf dieses Tragelement (12) flexiblen, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff bestehenden Deckschicht (14) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Tragelement (12) zumindest zum Teil aus die Tragfähigkeit des Abstützteils (10) erhöhendem Metall besteht. <IMAGE>
