The device has a fuel pump (10) with a transport element (16) for feeding fuel to a combustion chamber and a pressure generator (12) for feeding compressed air to the combustion chamber with a compression element (28) for pressure generation. The transport element and the compression element are connected together for a common drive for the fuel pump and pressure generator.

Eine Kraftstoffeinspritz-Einrichtung für Verbrennungsmotoren, die insbesondere für Zweitaktmotoren geeignet ist, weist eine Kraftstoffpumpe (10) und eine Druckerzeugungs-Einrichtung (12) auf. Die Kraftstoffpumpe (10) weist ein Förderelement (16) zum Zuführen des Kraftstoffs zu einem Verbrennungsraum auf. Die Druckerzeugungseinrichtung (12) weist zur Erzeugung von Druckluft ein Kompressionselement (28) auf. Erfindungsgemäß ist anstatt einer elektrischen Kraftstoffpumpe eine mechanische Kraftstoffpumpe vorgesehen, wobei hierzu das Förderelement (16) und das Kompressionselement (28) zum gemeinsamen Antreiben der Kraftstoffpumpe (10) und der Druckerzeugungseinrichtung (12) miteinander verbunden sind. <IMAGE>
