Abstract (en)
The connector (1) includes a base body (2) with an outer section (2a) for arranging on the outside of the panel wall (5), and an inner section (2b) for insertion through the wall opening. An adaptor (4) can be attached to the base body. A clamping member (6) can be attached to the adaptor in such a way that the panel wall (5) is clamped between the outer section and the clamping member. The adaptor may be fixed to the base body by a threaded joint, a bayonet, or a catch. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a method of installing a panel-mounted plug connector in a wall opening of a panel wall.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Anbau-Steckvorrichtungselement wie insbesondere eine Anbau-Gerätedose (1), welche in der Wandöffnung einer Montagewand (5) zu befestigen ist. Zu diesem Zweck wird ein Adapterring (4) auf den Grundkörper (2) des Steckvorrichtungselementes aufgeschraubt und zusammen mit diesem durch die Wandöffnung gesteckt. Auf ein Außengewinde (7) des Adapters (4) kann eine Überwurfmutter (6) aufgeschraubt werden, so dass die Montagewand (5) zwischen dem Außenabschnitt (2a) des Steckvorrichtungselementes (1) und der Überwurfmutter (6) eingeklemmt wird. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Adapter (4) und dem Grundkörper (2) kann auch durch einen Bajonettverschluss, eine Verschraubung, eine Verrastung oder dergleichen erfolgen. <IMAGE>
