Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0220225A1] The invention relates to a work tool. Work tools which can be used for various purposes - as manual gardening tools such as hoes, shovels and spades, for example, or as cleaning tools such as brooms, dustpans or the like - comprise a handle (13) and a tool (11) having a shank (12). The aim of the invention is to provide a detachable connecting element (14) between a tool (11) and a tool handle, said element being self-locking and comprising as few parts as possible which project over the outer contour of the handle. In order to achieve this, one end of a swivel arm (20) is arranged in a fixed manner in relation to the sleeve (15), and the other free end of the swivel arm (20) is arranged on the actuating lever (17). The holding arm (18), actuating lever (17) and swivel arm (20) come together in a self-locking position in the first final position (I) of the actuating lever (17).
