At least one of the transfer cylinders has a set up speed that differs from a production speed and from null and the associated forme cylinder simultaneously has a set-up speed that differs from a production speed and from null. The unit has at least four cylinders with a first pair of a first forme cylinder (01) and a first transfer cylinder (02) and a second pair of a second forme cylinder (09) and a second transfer cylinder (11), whereby the transfer cylinders work together in a print-on position. At least one of the transfer cylinders has a set up revolution rate that differs from a production revolution rate and from null and the associated forme cylinder simultaneously has a set-up revolution rate that differs from a production revolution rate and from null.
