Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0229939A1] The invention relates to an electric conductor structure of the bus bar (11) type, for low to medium current magnitudes. Said structure can be produced in an extremely cost-effective manner with versatile cross-sectional forms, by a multi-component extrusion process. According to said process, a support body (12) consisting of a plastic that cannot be electroplated and conductor strips (17) consisting of a plastic that can be electroplated, which run along and are set in longitudinal grooves (15), are extruded in a single operation. Inevitably, during a subsequent electroplating process, only the exposed surfaces of the conductor strips are metallised for carrying current.
