Abstract (en)
An ironing board is made of a single piece molding (4) of a foamed plastic with closed cells. It can be produced by expanding during molding or by pressing and sintering granules. The upper surface has a heat-reflecting layer under the fabric covering. The underside of the molding includes recesses (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) for the folding table legs and mounting points (28) for the leg mechanism.
