[origin: WO0229254A2] The invention relates to a valve for controlling fluids provided with a valve element (3), which can be axially displaced inside a valve body (5), with a hydraulic chamber (12), which functions as a hydraulic transmission, with a filling device (15), which is provided for compensating for losses due to leakage and which is connected to a high pressure area (14) and to a low pressure area (13) of the valve and, lastly, with a flow restrictor (18). According to the invention, the flow restrictor (18) can be displaced according to a pressure prevailing inside the low pressure area (13) whereby resulting in a filling of the hydraulic chamber (12) with fluid.
