Abstract (en)
The selection device for separating one by one articles from a stack of mail articles comprises a support surface (12) and transport belts (14,16,18) for driving the articles above the support surface. A movable pressure plate (20,22) cooperates with the transport belts to drive downstream a part of the mail articles coming from the stack corresponding to a maximum pre-specified thickness of mail articles. Independent, individually movable selection tongues (24,26) select a mail article from amongst the articles driven by the transport belts.

Dispositif de sélection pour séparer un à un les articles d'une pile d'articles de courrier comportant une surface support (12), des moyens de transport (14, 16, 18) pour entraîner ces articles de courrier au dessus de la surface support, un plateau presseur mobile (20, 22) coopérant avec les moyens de transport pour entraîner vers l'aval une partie des articles de courrier issus de la pile d'articles de courrier à séparer et correspondant à un épaisseur maximale prédéterminée d'articles de courrier, et des moyens indépendants de sélection (24, 26), mobiles individuellement, pour sélectionner un article de courrier parmi les articles de courrier entraînés par les moyens de transport. <IMAGE>
