Abstract (en)
The actuator (2) for controlling a valve (1) comprises a principal piston (13) with adjustable travel. There is a stop piston (19) able to slide inside the principal piston along the same axis and having an adjustable travel. The two pistons can be pressurized independently so that, when the stop piston is pressurized, it is carried from a travel start position to a stop position (17) and drives the principal piston from its travel start position (21) to a corresponding stop position which is adjustable between the travel start and end positions. <??>An Independent claim is included for the use of an actuator for controlling valves.

Actionneur (2) de type pneumatique ou hydraulique pour la commande d'une vanne (1), comprenant un piston principal (13) de préférence à course réglable, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend en outre un piston secondaire, dit piston de butée (19), capable de coulisser à l'intérieur du piston principal (13), selon le même axe que celui-ci, et présentant une course propre réglable, les deux pistons pouvant être pressurisés indépendamment l'un de l'autre, de manière telle que, lorsque le piston de butée (19) est pressurisé, celui-ci est porté d'une position de début de course à une position d'arrêt (17) et entraîne le piston principal (13) de sa position de début de course (21) à une position d'arrêt correspondante, réglable et intermédiaire entre les positions respectivement de début (21) et de fin (20) de course. <IMAGE>
